The Greenland halibut is the most numerous fish in the Icefjord.

Greenland halibut in the Icefjord are slightly fatter than those in the Disko Bay.

It breeds in the Davis Strait. The fry floats in the water masses and migrate to the Disko Bay and the Icefjord.

The Greenland halibut can reach a length of 120 cm and a weight of 45-50 kg.
