EDUCATIONAL OFFERS, REGISTRATION AND PRICES FOR VISITS AT THE ICEFJORD CENTRE
Kangiata Illorsua – The Icefjord Centre is a place where we value learning. We are working on educational material to national students in Greenland and also international students worldwide.
Our goal is to contribute with learning material and offers that are adapted to the specific learning goals for each grade in the greenlandic school system. To ensure the best learning environment during your visit, The Icefjord Centre reserves the right to asses how many school classes that can visit in the same timeslot.
Make sure to apply for a visit by filling out the registration form in good time to ensure the timeslot of your choice.
The Icefjord Centre is collaborating with Kivitsisa, the Institute of Nature, the Climate change institute, Arctic station and a number of local citizens with local knowledge.
Our educational material is in progress and will be launched in the span of the next year.
Until all of the material is ready you can use the exhibition at the Icefjord Centre as inspiration to your lessons as described in our 1st educational offer.
You need to plan your own goals for your visit whilst visiting the exhibition.
- It is an advantage to have defined the topic you wish to work with.
- A visit takes 45 minutes.
- You can visit us between 10am and 12pm on weekdays.
- We prefer if you book a visit with 2 weeks notice.

Guided visit
- If we cannot provide a guide fluent in greenlandic we hope that the accompanying teacher will help with the translation.
- Please let us know which topic you wish to work with during the visit.
